Granola
Granola is a botless AI meeting notepad that turns your rough notes and meeting context into editable summaries, with searchable history and team sharing.
Be the first to share your experienceWhat does it do?
A meeting note may be useful long after the next follow-up. Choose a plan around how far back you need to retrieve decisions and where the checked notes must go.
Compare the plans by the work you need to do
The current Granola plan table lists Basic at $0, Business at $14 per user per month and Enterprise at $35 per user per month.
| Need | Basic | Business |
|---|---|---|
| Visible meeting history | 30 days | Unlimited |
| Slack integration | Included | Included |
| Other listed integrations | Not included | Included |
| API access | Not included | Included |
Basic also has personal-note MCP access within the recent window. Business extends the documented access to personal and public workspace notes. Match the connection to the scope of notes it needs.
History and deletion answer different questions
The 30-day meeting-history window describes what the plan exposes for retrieval. Treat it separately from transcript retention or deletion settings.
Granola’s table lists user-level retention choices and audio deletion after transcription. Review the actual account settings before making an archive or privacy promise.
For a recurring customer conversation, decide how you will preserve the agreed decision, owner and due date. A note disappearing from a plan’s visible history should not erase the team’s operational record.
Calculate the team cost alongside the retrieval need
At the listed Business rate, five users cost $70 for one month before applicable taxes or other adjustments. Ten users cost $140. These figures are simple multiplication, not a quoted contract.
Compare that cost with a concrete requirement: retrieving last quarter’s decisions, moving reviewed notes into a CRM or using an included integration.
If recent notes and Slack cover the actual workflow, start by checking whether Basic already meets it. A paid plan earns its place when the added access is needed.
Review a note before it leaves the meeting context
- Check names, numbers and decisions against the source context.
- Confirm the action owner and due date.
- Review the receiving folder or connected app.
- Remove material that the destination audience should not receive.
- Keep a checked decision record in the team’s chosen system.
Tell participants when transcription is in use and follow the organization’s requirements for consent and sharing. A device-based capture method does not decide those obligations.
We have checked the published plan descriptions and calculated the sample seat costs. We have not run a new meeting-capture or retrieval test.
The Good Tape profile covers a recording-focused transcription workflow. Our Gemini Notebook guide examines another source-based recall and editing workflow.
