A campaign can start with one offer and still end with three different versions across the store, the ad, and the email.
Perplexity published a commerce workflow for Computer on November 3. The announcement describes using Shopify sales data to select products, build a store page, and prepare related Meta advertising and Klaviyo email campaigns.
One campaign brief reaches several services
Perplexity says businesses can provide brand guidelines and voice through reusable skills. Computer can then apply those materials across pages, advertising, and email. The company describes selecting different models for tasks such as analysis, images, video and reporting.
The dated post presents a workflow across existing products. It does not establish that Computer, or every integration mentioned, first launched that day. Our review did not establish plan-by-plan access, regional eligibility, or the credits needed for a complete campaign.
The approval points carry different consequences
| Campaign step | Decision to record before launch |
|---|---|
| Shopify page | Approve the product details, offer and published destination. |
| Meta campaign | Approve the creative, audience and advertising budget. |
| Klaviyo email | Approve the recipient group, message and send or schedule action. |
Perplexity says teams specify goals, budgets, and review requirements. Publishing a page, spending money, and sending email are distinct actions, so the campaign brief needs explicit instructions for each.
A draft page can be revised quietly. An email already sent to customers has a different consequence. Separate approval records make it easier to identify which material was approved and which account action followed.
Use one offer record across the campaign
A practical campaign record could hold the product, discount, dates, destination URL, and approved audience. Compare each generated asset against that record before release. A matching visual style alone will not reveal an incorrect discount or an expired offer.
That is an editorial workflow proposal. We did not connect accounts, publish pages, spend on ads, or send email through Computer. No conversion or revenue improvement was measured.
Begin with a reviewable draft
I would start by requesting product analysis and campaign drafts, with all account actions awaiting approval. That gives the merchant something to assess before testing a broader workflow.
Our Computer effort-controls guide covers a separate cost decision. The e-commerce AI comparison offers wider context. Which campaign mismatch costs your team the most time to catch?
