Wispr Flow

Wispr Flow is for people who can explain an idea faster than they can type it. Its distinguishing behavior is cleanup: it tries to turn rambling speech and mid-sentence corrections into text you might actually send. It also learns custom terms and can expand saved snippets. The company lists Mac, Windows, iPhone, and Android support.

Try it in three real contexts: a quick message, a longer email, and a technical note full of names or acronyms. Compare how much editing remains after dictation. The biggest risk is a plausible but wrong rewrite of a date, amount, or person’s name, so final review still matters. If you will dictate confidential material, inspect the vendor’s data controls and your organization’s policy first.
